Mother: Sarah Ann (Lamprey) (Tilton) Stewart, daughter of Eli and Hannah (Sanborn) Lamprey; born 28 November 1837 at Hampton, Rockingham County, New Hampshire; died 05 September 1897, probably at Geneseo, Henry County, Illinois.

Otis and Sarah married before 1855 in New Hampshire.
