Historical Miscellani - 1745 Dec 2. I Abraham Tilton, of Nottingham, Burlington Co, Yeoman, the son and Heir of Samuel Tilton lately of Middletown Monmouth N.J. Deceased, who died Intestate, for the sum of 100 Pounds paid by my loving sister Viz; Sarah Killey, the wife of Joseph Killey, Hannah Tilton, Rebecca Tilton, Patience Middleton the wife of Elizabeth Tilton and Esther Tilton as well as for the love I bear to all my sisters, Convey all Land In Middletown Township that was my fathers Samuel Tiltons, aforesaid, at the time of his death all my right and claim of her Dower Witnesses John Hays, Ephraim Silver, Amos Middleton. 1761 Dec 21 Will of Abraham Tilton of Nottingham; Proved Jan 1762 Mentions wife Elizabeth and 5 children, the girls not yet Eighteen, and the son not yet 21, Children Patience, Sarah, Hannah, Lucy and Abraham Tilton.
After the Death of Abraham Tilton, his wife Elizabeth married by License date 25 Aug 1763 Humphrey Wall by whom she had an only child Joseph Wall who was the father of Jacob Wall the well known Baker of New York City.
