(His first wife) Dr James Tilton was a Nephew of Dr James Tilton Surgeon of the Continental Army and first Surgeon General U.S.A. The Latter Never Married.

Jacob married Elizabeth Caulk #1 in 1779 in Unknown. (Elizabeth Caulk #1 was born in 1759 in Delaware and died on 20 Oct 1817 in Maryland.)
