Mrs. Tilton's full maiden name was:
Narcissa Henrietta Ophelia Jane Barrow. She was the youngest child of west Trinity Bay pioneer Solomon Barrow & wife Elizabeth Winfree. She married 3 Confederate States Army veterans -- Barton Clark, Solomon Curbello and Benjamin Tilton -- and outlived them all. She had a total of 9 children by her first and last husbands. Living out her life at Cove, she was a member of the Church of Christ there.

She was the youngest child (of 12) of Solomon Barrow and Elizabeth Winfree.

She married 1st to Barton Clark. Together they had children: William, Barton and Martha.

She married 2nd to Solomon Curbillo/Curbello. Apparently they divorced after one year of marriage. No children to this marriage.

She married 3rd to Benjamin Tilton and together they had Laura, Leona, Annie, Rachel and Nora.
