(Thompson) Tilton, 70, of Woodside Circle, Simsbury, beloved wife of David K Tilton, died Friday, August 11 2000 at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford. She was born August 16 1929 in Worburn Massachusetts, daughter of the late Everett and Ruth (Stover) Thompson, and had lived in Simsbury for over 35 years. Mrs. Tilton was a leader and director of the Connecticut Yankee Girl Scouts of America. Besides her husband, she is survived by a son William Tilton of West Haven; five daughters, Patricia Beer of Snellville, GA, Nancy Kelley of Brandon FL, Barbara Rommel of Newark, NY, Marcia Rivers of Tolland, Susan Hitt of Plainville; and ten grandchildren.
